Some new layouts...finally

Life has gotten busy around here and there never seems to be enough hours in the day to do everything that I want to do. I have slowed down on scrapping, but have managed to get all of these done recently. Thanks for looking!

I participated in another 1 hour challenge at Club CK on Wednesday April 20th and this is the layout I created. I used Echo Park's Springtime collection. I sprayed & splattered white Mister Huey's on the background. I cut the hearts & stars out on the Silhouette and the butterflies are from Studio Calico. The letter stickers are from Fancy Pants.

I created this for the one hour challenge on 4/14/2011. I used a Page Maps sketch. The papers are all from Echo Park's Little Boy collection. The title and signs I created in the Silhouette software and used their print & cut feature.

I started this layout with the two colleges. I used Recollections kraft cardstock for the base of the layout. The patterned papers are all from Basic Grey. I used my EK Success corner rounder punch on the left side patterned paper. The title is from Stamping Station. For the star, I started with kraft paper from Recollections and cut a star on the Silhouette. I then sprayed it with green ink from Studio Calico (Mister Huey's) and ran it through a paper crimper. I topped it off with a gray button from my Club CK survival kit and black DMC floss.

I used a Sketchy Thursday sketch on this layout. I used the Echo Park Little Girl collection. I took a piece of their cardstock (pink) and splattered three colors of Mister Huey's & purple chalkboard Glimmer Mist on it. The purple lace is from Jo-Ann's. The wood heart is from Studio Calico. The flourish is hand sewn with DMC floss using a Bazzill Stitching Template.

Here I started with a Page Maps sketch. The cardstock is from American Crafts. The patterned paper and journaling card are from My Mind's Eye. The trim is from 7 Gypsies (I think). I machine stitched three circles on the layout. I then hand sewed the three flowers using DMC floss and Bazzill stitch templates. The title I created in the Silhouette and cut using Doodlebug, Bazzill & American Crafts cardstock.

For this layout I started with a Valerie Salmon sketch. The kraft cardstock is all from Recollections. The patterned papers are from Echo Park. I used an EK Success border punch on the plaid strip. The flowers were cut on the Silhouette and then ran through my Fiskers paper crimper. The journaling shape was cut on the Silhouette using Bazzill cardstock. The fun times stamp is from Studio G. The leaves were hand stitched using DMC floss. The title is done with American Crafts Thickers. The jeweled center is from Recollections.

Here I started with a March 2010 Page Maps sketch. I used the Fancy Pants It's the Little Things collection. I made use of the Glitter Cuts, Stickers, Patterned Paper & a Transparency. The stars were cut on the Silhouette and then ran through my Fiskers paper crimper and then I inked them with white ink. I topped it with a yellow button from my stash and black DMC floss.

Once again I used a Page Maps sketch for this layout. I used the Bo Bunny Vicki B collection. I also used Bazzill & American Craft cardstock. I used brown ric-rac from my stash. I cut the title on the Silhouette using a design from Kerri Bradford. The clear circles are from Recollections. The gems are from want 2 scrap. The other "sun" circle is from the Silhouette store and I cut it on the Silhouette using Bo Bunny Paper.

Lots of new layouts & a Sketchy Thursday sketch challenge

I had a super productive last few days in the scrapping department. These aren't the best pictures of my layouts, but with the weather here lately it has been hard. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!

I created this first layout using this week's sketch from Sketchy Thursday. I made this layout with Echo Park's Playground Collection. I used an EK Success border punch on the pink paper. I also used some foam squares on some of the embellishments.

I started this layout with a Pencil Lines sketch. The papers are from Bo Bunny's Crush line. The white cardstock is from Bazzill. The title and strawberry are from the Silhouette store and I changed them into Print & Cut designs. I really love how they turned out! The journaling shape is from Jillibean Soup.

This is one of the layouts from the Latest & Greatest with Basic Grey class that I took at the Portland Creating Keepsakes Convention. I changed one of the pictures from a horizontal to a vertical to work with my pictures.

I started this layout using a Page Maps sketch. The gray cardstock is from American Crafts. The patterned paper, journaling space and center square are from Bo-Bunny's Ad Lib collection. I created the title on the Silhouette using Bazzill cardstock. THe heart embellishment is from Fancy Pants. The 3-D embellishments are from My Mind's Eye and were left over from the Quick & Classy with My Mind's Eye class at the Creating Keepsakes Convention.

My last Christmas layout for this year!! I used an Allison Davis sketch. I used Bo-Bunny's Midnight Frost Collection. The presents are sketch designs on the Silhouette. I sketched and cut them out and then added Stickles. The title is a combination of Bo Bunny stickers and a glitter word from Me & My Big Ideas.

This last layout is another layout from the Latest & Greatest with Basic Grey class that I took at the Creating Keepsakes Collection. This was made using the Hello Luscious collection and a package of their new blooms (a combination of canvas and paper printed flowers). I moved a flower to suit my pictures, but otherwise left the layout alone.

Frosted Designs Sketch Challenge & Friday Challenge

If you are looking for the CK Spring Blog Hop, please scroll down two posts.

I created both of these layouts for Challenges at Frosted Designs.

So for this layout I used their Sketch Along Tuesday sketch #12. I used Bo Bunny paper for this layout. The trim is from Michael's. The title and bird are from the Silhouette. The bird is from their store and I used the sketch pens before cutting him out. I added some stickles to his eye. I created the title using two fonts. And I added some stickles to the title too.

I started with a Sketchy Thursday sketch. I used Echo Park's Little Girl collection for this layout. The Friday challenge at Frosted Designs was to use brads. So I added these flower brads to the scallops on the circle. I used some foam squares to add dimension to some of the stickers.

Some new April layouts & cards

If you are looking for the Spring Blog Hop, just scroll down.

I wanted to share the cards and layouts I have been working on lately. I have 2 more to share, but since those are for challenges, those will be in another post. I am starting off with a couple of cards.

I made this card using Recollections kraft cardstock. The paper is from October Afternoon (left over from the Material Girl class at the convention) and some Echo Park paper. The stamp is from Studio Calico and I got it as a give away in their class. I cut the cupcakes out on the Silhouette.

I had to make two of these cards. Boo. The kraft cardstock is from Recollections. The patterned papers are from Basic Grey. The frame stamp is from Sassafrass and I embossed it. The word stamps are from Technique Tuesday. The butterfly was cut on the Silhouette. The button is from my stash and the twine is from The Twinery.

I started this layout with a Page Maps sketch. The papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle. The journaling card is from Bo Bunny. The border, flowers and title were cut on the Silhouette. I also added some star rub-ons from Studio Calico (again left over from their class). I added some glossy accents and Stickles too. This page looks much brighter in real life.

I started this layout with an Allison Davis sketch. The cardstock is from Bazzill. The patterned paper and the stickers are from Echo Park. The journaling shapes are from Martha Stewart that I sprayed with Mister Huey's spray ink. I am not really happy with how this layout turned out, but decided to just walk away.

Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to the Spring Blog Hop! Thank you all for hopping on over to visit me. You should have just left Briana's Blog. If not, then just head on over to Amanda's Blog to get started!

For my project I decided to make this pretty frame that I am going to hang up for my daughter. I got the frame at Michael's. I put the strips of paper on to the back of the frame using Mod-Podge. The papers are from SEI. I then went a little crazy using my Silhouette. I cut the title out using a design from their store using American Crafts cardstock. The 3-D flowers are also from the Silhouette store. After cutting out the blue flowers (Bazzill cardstock) I sprayed them with a lot of silver glimmer mist and them crumpled them up for texture. For the purple flower (American Crafts cardstock) I just inked the edges and rolled them up slightly. There is a detailed photo below. I added American Crafts Dear Lizzy brads to the center of the flowers. The bunnies are a Print and Cut Design using the Silhouette. I printed them on Recollections cardstock and them out and added them to the frame. So cute!

Close up of the flowers.

Close up of Peter Rabbit and his Mommy!

One Hour Challenge

So since my darling daughter was a Pre-School this afternoon I was able to play along with the One Hour Challenge on Club CK. I had to create a layout in under an hour and it had to include doodling. I will be honest, I don't normally doodle and I am never very happy with it when I do it, but for some reason I do like it on this layout. I used an Insprired Blueprints sketch. The cardstock and thickers are from American Crafts. Everything else is from Echo Park's Springtime collection.

Thanks for swinging by and taking a look! Remember there is a blog hop on Friday. So come back then!

Some April layouts & cards

I have already managed to get quite a bit done since my last blog post. I even added pictures to a couple of my layouts from the CK Convention. I sure hope you enjoy these. Remember there will be a blog hop going on later this week, so make sure to come back!

For this card I used Recollections & DCWV cardstock. The little heart is wood from Studio Calico that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The brown lace trim is from Technique Tuesday. The thank you stamp on the card is from Technique Tuesday too.

I got the idea for this card from a Card Creations magazine. The patterned paper is leftover from the Material Girl class at the CK Convention. I bought the lace from a vendor at the convention. On the cream cardstock from Bazzill I sprayed it with Studio Calico's Mister Huey's. The phone is a design that I cut out on the Silhouette. Love the way this turned out. The card itself is from Recollections kraft cardstock.

This layout is from the Quick & Classy with My Mind's Eye class. I changed the pictures from Verticals to Horizontals and added some of the extra tags from the class. I think it came out very cute, although not my normal style.

This is the other layout from the Quick & Classy with My Mind's Eye that I just finished. I just added the picture and journaling to complete this page.

I am so in love with this layout!!! I started with a Jana Eubank sketch. The papers are from My Mind's Eye Stella Rose line. I cut the title and the sun on the Silhouette using designs from their store. I combined two designs to make the title. The yellow paper for the sun is actually Studio Calico paper that was left over from their spray ink class at the CK Convention. The pearl swirl is from want 2 scrap (convention). The blue flower is also from the CK Convention (Nicole Peterson designs) and I added some gold stickles to give it more dimension.

I started this layout with a Page Maps sketch and the Merry Christmas collection by Echo Park. I took a cream piece of Bazzill cardstock and sprayed it with three colors of Mister Huey's spray ink. I love the look of the background. Everything else is from the Echo Park collection.

This is the final layout that I am sharing today. I started this with a Page Maps sketch. The white cardstock is from Bazzill. The patterned papers are from Echo Park's Everybody loves Christmas. The stickers are from Jolee's. I don't normally use stickers like these, but they were so perfect to use on this baking page. The title & journaling shape were cut on the Silhouette using designs from their store. I used all Bazzill cardstock for it.

Frosted Designs & Sketchy Thursday Challenge

I started this layout using this week's sketch challenge at Sketchy Thursday. Here is the sketch:

So I used the My Mind's Eye Fine & Dandy line of papers. I used a Martha Stewart border punch. The title & calendar are print and cuts from the Silhouette. The wood butterfly is from Studio Calico that I sprayed with Mister Huey. I then wrapped twine from The Twinery around it. The white flower I bought at the convention from the Nicole Peterson booth. I made the other flower with ribbon from Technique Tuesday. I accented the flower with pink stickles. The green sequins are from Jo-Ann's. This week's challenge at Frosted Designs is to use bling. I loved adding this Basic Grey bling to add the finishing touches to this layout.
Thank you for taking the time to look!

Some April layouts

Since it is now April I thought I would share some layouts that I have finished. It has taken me longer than I thought it would to get back into the normal swing of things at home. I started this week behind, and now it is Friday and I am still behind. I hope that by the end of the weekend I caught up again!

For this layout I used a Scrapbook Generation sketch. The papers are from My Mind's Eye, Kaiser Crafts & Scrap Within Reach. The kraft paper is from Recollections. The Afghanistan title and country shape are from Paper Wizard. The number stickers were in my Club CK survival kit at the Portland convention. I hand stitched around the large patterned papers with DMC floss.

I started this layout with a Page Maps 2 sketch. The cardstock is from Bazzill. The striped paper is from Bo Bunny. The black stickers are from Kelly Panacci and they were in my Club CK survival kit. The ribbon is from my stash. The letter stickers are from Fancy Pants. The stamps are from Technique Tuesday and I used black ink and clear embossing powder.

Once again for this layout I used a Page Maps 2 sketch. The paper & stickers are from Bo Bunny's Crazy Love line. The wood heart is from Studio Calico and it is wrapped using twine from Technique Tuesday. The border at the top was cut using the Silhouette.
