I used my Winter Park collection from Echo Park for this layout. I fussy cut the boarders at the top of the page. To add some dimension to the stickers I used foam squares on some and outlined the snowflakes to make them stand out a little more. I cut the word “together” on my Silhouette.
I know I can’t wait to see what the Design Team created over at S:CY, so head on over and take a look. If you create a layout with this sketch, make sure you link up your layout!

I have been meaning to use up some of my scraps and all the little sentiments that come as part of collection packs. So I decided to make cards. I still have a bunch more to make with the stickers in the packs. I used supplies from Echo Park, My Mind’s Eye and various ribbons from my stash. I bought these card blanks from Jo-Ann’s.
Thank you for stopping by! I made all of these cards in about 2 1/2 hours while my daughter was at pre-school. I love how cute the cards look but they are still thin enough to be easily mailed. I hope this inspires you to make some cards!

I used a Valerie Salmon sketch for this layout. The black cardstock is from Recollections and I sprayed it with white Mister Huey’s spray ink. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey’s PB&J collection. I cut the title, heart and background shape out on the Silhouette Cameo using designs from their store and from Kerri Bradford. The chipboard stickers are from My Mind’s Eye. The journaling card was a free printable that I found on Pinterest. The bracket sticker is from Heidi Grace. The rhinestone heart is from Oriental Trading. I added stitching with DMC floss and my Sew Easy. The red rhinestones are from Kasiercrafts. The Washi tape is from Recollections, Target and K & Company

I had these pictures of the Pacific Ocean from our trip to Lincoln City last September and thought that I could create a block of photos with them. I had to change the sketch up a little bit to work with my photos and long title, but that is what I love about sketches. They provide a great starting point and you can use them over and over again by just tweaking little things.
So the background paper is from Karen Foster. The blue swirl paper is from Basic Grey and the red polka dot paper is from Echo Park. The white cardstock is just from my stash. I used rub-ons from Basic Grey. The bracket stickers are from Echo Park. I used an EK Success border punch on the red paper. For the title I used my Silhouette software. This is a design from their store that I filled using a blue wood grain pattern that I purchased from their store. After the design was filled I outlined it in black using the software before printing it out on a transparency. I have to say that I LOVE how the title came out. I finished off my layout with some DMC floss and my Sew Easy. Here is a close up of the title.
I sure hope that you enjoyed seeing my layout this week. Head on over to the S:CY blog to see what the Design Team created and then create a layout of your own and share with us over there.

I used a Sketchy Thursdays sketch for this layout. I used the Merry Christmas collection by Echo Park. I cut the viewfinder, hand and title out on the Silhouette using 2 designs from their store and two fonts from my computer. On the viewfinder, I added clear plastic on the back and used two colors of Tim Holtz alcohol inks to color the plastic. I added some hand-stitching with my sew easy and DMC floss.

I added stickles to the reindeer sticker from Echo Park. The rhinestone present is from Basic Grey. I added the stitches with my Sew Easy and DMC floss. This is the last layout for the album of monthly layouts that I created for my husband’s most recent deployment. I got the idea for these layouts from Nichol Magouirk. The photo template is from Kerri Bradford. The papers are from Echo Park. I cut the brackets and title out on the Silhouette using shapes from their store. The buttons are from my stash and I added the black twine from The Twinery.
The added buttons go with the challenge this month at Unique Crafters Challenge.

I got the idea for these water bottles on Pinterest, and then tweaked the idea. My daughter has 7 teachers/substitutes at her school, so that meant I needed to create something that wouldn’t break the bank to make that many.
I bought these water bottles at the Dollar Tree. I then used my Silhouette and the vinyl starter kit and cut out all of the teachers’ names. After I added them to each bottle they sat at the house for another several days for the next part. After a trip to the store I added a box of Crystal Light to each bottle.
The final step was to print off the toppers (from pinterest) and have my daughter write her name on the back of each label. I then used various ribbon scraps and tied the labels onto the bottles. I think these turned out very cute! I might even need to add my name to a water bottle!

So I created this layout for a challenge on Club CK called the Chinese Whispers Speed Round. It is like a scrapping telephone game. The first person gets a sketch or some inspiration and creates a layout and then sends their layout to the next person on the list and so on. Then at the end all the layouts get posted so we can see how much changed throughout the process. This is the third round I have participated in lately and I am loving it!
For this digital layout I combined a lot of different kits, but the result is well worth it. I did re-color a few elements here and there. The kits are: Ever After, Essentially Me, Beautiful You, Enjoy the Journey, Felis Elements, Midnight, Sequin Scatters (discontinued) and Sweet Little Thing.

For this layout I used a Valerie Salmon sketch. The cardstock is from American Crafts. The patterned paper is from My Mind’s Eye and Glitz Designs. I used American Craft Thickers for the title. The journaling card is a free one that I found on Pinterest that I then sprayed with two shades of Mister Huey’s spray ink. I then used my Fiskars corner rounder on the card and the paper. I used DMC floss and my stitch templates from Oriental Trading to add the flourishes. The snaps were added with my Crop-a-Dile Big Bite and the snaps are from Making Memories.
I created the flower with a used dryer sheet that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist and Mister Huey Spray inks before cutting circles and added yellow Stickles to the edges. I then layered and crinkled the edges before sewing on the button from my stash with DMC floss.

I created this layout for the chipboard challenge over at Scrap Your Crap. I used a Page Maps sketch from January 2012 for this layout. I used a kit from Scrapbook Circle for this layout. The patterned papers are from Pebbles and Jillibean Soup. I used my Silhouette to cut the title using a design from their store and cardsock from Recollections and Bazzill. I created the flower with satin fabric from Jo-Ann’s that I cut into circles. I then used a lighter to lightly singe the edges before inking them. I then finished the flower by adding a brad from SEI and Stickles. The journaling shape is from Maya Road. The chipboard shapes are from Studio 18 (Michael’s) and I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist and colored them with American Crafts markers. The twine is from The Twinery. The “happiness” sticker is from Pebbles. Finally I used some washi tape from Recollections and a piece from Persnickety Prints (it came on my order envelope).

I combined two challenges for this layout. The first one is #69 from Scrap Fit ( a sketch from Diana) and the Technique challenge on DHD (sequencing). So instead of three pictures like the sketch I extended it and added 5 photos. I used four different kits for this layout (I did recolor a little bit). The kits used are: Framestatic, With All My Heart (Ju Kniepp Facebook page), All My Loving and Grunge Overlay.

The background paper and music note paper is from Melissa Frances. I then added a sheet of Double Dot cardstock from Bo Bunny for the die cuts and as mats for the photos. I cut the title and hummingbird on my Silhouette using designs from their store. The wood hearts are from Pink Paislee that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist.
The flowers are from Oriental Trading and I added three layers of glitter tulle from Celebrate It (Michael’s) behind them. The journaling card is from My Mind’s Eye and I fussy cut it out. Finally I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the music paper.

So I was inspired by two things to make these cute cards. First was with my Persnickety Prints order. The clear envelope that held my digital prints also had a piece of washi tape on it and there was a cute thank you tag with a coupon code on the back that was taped to the front of the envelope using a different color of striped washi tape. I then broke down and bought the washi tape at Target.
As soon as I got home I put these two cards together. I love how they came out and I was excited to use the tape. I then printed out the second Thank You tag. I used my machine to stitch the cardstock covered with tape to the black background before adding it to the blank card. These cards were so simple to make and the make me happy!

So now here is my layout:
I used a Fancy Pants collection called It’s the Little Things. I cut the bracket shape by hand (well by tracing another piece of paper). The buttons are from my stash (I believe Making Memories and Oriental Trading). The clear shapes are from Heidi Swapp and I colored them with alcohol ink. The twine is from Technique Tuesday. I cut the title out of Fancy Pants paper using my Silhouette and a design from their store. The cardstock is from Bazzill. I also sanded some of the edges of my photos.
I hope you have been checking out what the fabulous ladies at S:CY have made each week. I sure hope you will come and play along with us. We would love to see your layouts, so make sure to head over and link them up!
