Don’t Forget Good Time (Mye De Leon)

It is that time of the month again…Mye De Leon has released a HUGE new collection available for a few more days to her newsletter subscribers for an amazing price.  When I first got this kit I was surprised at how loaded it is!!

For this layout I looked at the templates that come with this collection, I figured out how to move it around to fit my picture and to create it with paper elements.

Hello Friend

I wanted to add texture all the patterned paper on the left side of the layout, so I used some corrugated paper, not to mention various ribbon scraps.  I love the variety of the colors and textures and how they all come together to support the picture.

Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!

Welcome to my tenth Fancy Pants layout this month.  I can’t believe that I have come this far already this month.  When I signed up for the stash busting challenge I never thought that I would get this many layouts done.  I usually pick out the paper that I want to use for each new layout from my whole stash.  But I have found this to be quicker for me and it challenges my creativity more then normal.

Dreams Mini Book (Mye De Leon)

I am taking a slight break from my Fancy Pants challenge to work on a hybrid project for Mye De Leon using her My Life mini kit and the brand new Scripted Journal Cards.  I loved the messages on these cards and thought that they would make an adorable little mini book.

Kindergarten Grad

I think this is the most scrapbooking I have done recently, especially since this is the eight layout I have created with Fancy Pants papers this month.  If you have been thinking about giving this challenge a try, I would say “go for it”.  You never know how much fun you could have with this, unless you give it a try.

My Sunshine

This is my seventh layout this month using Fancy Pants papers.  It never ceases to amaze me how different layouts can turn out all starting with the same paper company.  It has been a fun challenge to start mixing and matching various papers and scraps from my stash.

A couple of close-ups:  I totally adore how this sun came out once I covered it in sequins.  It just makes me happy!

Love this Boy

This is layout number 5 of my paper company challenge.  It feels like I have been on a scrapbooking roll lately.  Every time I sit down to work on another layout I am surprised at how quickly it goes by starting with a single patterned paper company.  I have also discovered how much fun it is to mix and match embellishments from various companies.

Virginia Living Museum

This is my fourth Fancy Pants layout of the month.  I have to say I am on a roll and I still have a lot of paper here to use.  Now I don’t expect to completely deplete my stash of Fancy Pants paper, but maybe I will make some room for some of their brand new releases that I am drooling over.

At times like this where I have a lot of pictures that I want on a single layout I use photo templates and then have the image printed as a single large photo.  This makes putting it all together so easy!!  With so many pictures, I kept the embellishments simple with just some sequins and wood stars.

Children’s Museum

Today is another layout featuring Fancy Pants Designs paper.  I have a few design team layouts being shared this month that will feature other companies, but I created those before my stash busting challenge started.  This is another layout that I made using my scrap drawer and are from several different lines.

Love at Home

I loved the chevron printed paper, but to use the whole page would have taken the focus off the pictures, so in the end I used my craft knife to cut three rows of the chevrons to add to the layout to break up the background.  I wanted to finish it off with some more touches of mustard/gold and did that with the use spray ink and sequins.

Field Trip Fun

Today I am sharing my second layout using just Fancy Pants patterned paper.  I didn’t think that I would love this challenge as much as I have been.  It has been interesting to say the least.  I love that for this layout it was all done with scraps, well except the background patterned paper.  It feels pretty awesome to be using up quite a few scraps.

Hello World

I am participating in a stash busting challenge from one of my scrappy friends.  Each person picks a paper company that they have a lot of, and that is the only patterned paper you use.  So for February I went with Fancy Pants Designs.  I have quite a few collections and my drawer of Fancy Pants scraps is pretty full too.  So today I am sharing the first of many new layouts using only Fancy Pants patterned paper.

For this layout I also used almost a full sheet of the die cut banner pieces.  I love that the collections come with these, but I haven’t been using them much.  Well, this layout sure changed that!!

Wall Collage

I made this for my Mother-in-Law for Christmas and I am finally getting around to sharing it.  I have to admit that I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how it turned out.  Be prepared of photo overload!

I used lots of supplies from my stash and added some fun pieces that I bought in the jewelry department of my local craft store.  For special pieces like this, I love adding little special accents that aren’t normally associated with scrapbooking.

You Charmer

When I first saw these pieces of the February Company Stash by Mye De Leon called You Charmer, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  I saw the kit on January 31st, which is also my nephew Issac’s 12th birthday.  So I thought this would be the PERFECT time to create a digital layout with him in mind.
