Project Life kit with a Twist (The ScrapRoom)

Long before I ever started doing Pocket Scrapbooking I would drool over the fun project life style scrapbooking supplies.  Slowly I would get some here or there and then I was stuck.  I was determined to figure out a way to use them in my regular scrapbooking.  That is the style for these pages.

For these two layout I used the Project Life kit that is available from The ScrapRoom and paired it up with the Patterned Paper Add-On Kit to create regular scrapbook pages.

For this page I focused on the Bo-Bunny Believe papers and cards that are included between the two kits.  I started with a large piece of the patterned paper and then added some black cardstock from my stash.  I love how the cards pop when they are against the black.  I then grabbed the stack of cards that came in a variety of sizes and started layering them around and behind my photo.  I finished it off with some Simple Stories label stickers and clips along with the enamel dots from My Mind's Eye that are all included in the Project Life kit.  For my title I just grabbed a package of black Thickers from my stash and they even had a few arrows in it.

This was my first idea when it came to showcasing how the Project Life kit can be utilized in traditional layout scrapping.  I started with the two sheet of Elle's Studio paper from the April Patterned Paper Add-On Kit.  I then looked through the remaining pocket style cards that I had to left to find some that match and that also go with this photo of my daughter.  All of these cards are from the Photo Play Like A Girl line that is included in the Project Life kit.  I cut down some to fit and then when i was laying it all out I decided to angle the top layer to provide some visual interest.  To finish the layout I dug into the embellishments that came in the Project Life kit and used the Simple Stories washi tape, icon stickers and label stickers.  I also used some Photo Play Stickers and the Enamel Dots from My Mind's Eye.

In the end I created 4 12x12 Pocket Page spreads and these two 12x12 layouts.  I still have supplies left including some of all of the stickers and enamel dots...and I used those on EVERY SINGLE PAGE!  I am totally blown away with how much comes in these kits!

Thanks for joining me!
